My First Real Estate Class

First Real Estate Class

At this time, I have officially completed my first real estate class and I am on track to take my school exam on July 18th. I have to admit this path isn’t going to be easy but I wasn’t looking for easy, I want a better way of life. In spite of, there being a ton of information to memorize, I am confident I will be able to pass. While, I am nervous to start exploring brokerages, I am hopeful I will find a good fit in the coming weeks. The right path is not always clear from the start

Preparations

In preparation for my first real estate class, my husband and I spent the weekend up at his parents cabin in Heber, AZ. I brought along my book and flashcards so I could sink my teeth into the first chapter, property taxes and fixtures. For example, if you hang a ceiling fan in your home it is considered annexation. On the other hand, if you remove the fan you have now converted it from real to personal property through a process called severance. While the content can be dry at times I enjoy learning the details behind the home buying and selling process.

Moving Forward

Finally, while it was nice to have a week off to unwind before starting my first real estate classes, I have forced myself to a pretty strict study schedule. I will also start driving for Uber next week to help make ends meet. At this time, I am focused and driven to make something big out of my new venture. As always, I’m looking for advise, feedback, suggestions, or just friendly banter. Feel free to contact me, subscribe, or just follow my social media links below
